Animated Crawling Girl
One of the more interesting and just down right creepy Halloween decorations this year has to be Spirit Halloween's Animated Crawling Girl.
I really like how ambiguous this prop is. Is she crawling away from something, or is she trying to attack you?
After seeing this one in action, it really is a classic. If you're brave enough to get close enough to it you start to see some disturbing details. Details like she is crying blood and her mouth is stitched shut. How did she wind up like this?!
The soundtrack that accompanies the hapless Crawling Girl is equally chilling. It's not a corny theater major going over the top, it's the sounds of a storm with chains rattling and bone chilling groans and moans as she crawls towards you.
Placing this under a table, waiting for unsuspecting guests would be a great idea. The right environment can really make this prop come alive.
But, heck, even an environment filled with stuffed animals is pretty creepy too. While this is not the best demonstration of the 'Animated Crawling Girl', being surrounded by adorable plush animals...who could be scary? It was enough to scare the cameraman when an unexpected guest comes creeping from behind him. It's a good laugh.
